511 Logo Usage

Except as otherwise authorized by SACOG in writing, websites may display only the logos exactly as provided in the 511 toolbox. The logo may not be altered in any way whatsoever, including proportions, colors, elements, addition of drop shadows, etc. The logo may not be used as part of any "design element" on the page or incorporated into another graphic or illustration.

The logo may be displayed only on web page that makes accurate references to 511, its products or services. Do not display the logo on any site that disparages 511 or its products or services, infringes any intellectual property or other rights, or violates any state, federal or international law.

Do not display the logo in any manner that implies affiliation with, sponsorship, endorsement, or license by 511. These guidelines do not grant license or any other rights to use 511 logos or trademarks. SACOG reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to terminate or modify your permission to display the logo at any time, or take action against any use that does not conform to these guidelines.

The 511 logo is to be used only on pieces of an official nature, i.e. for marketing or providing information about 511 travel information services.

Logo Buffer Zone

The logo must always appear with adequate "buffer space" around all sides of the logo and tag line, separating the logo from other graphics or typography. Acceptable buffer space is equivalent to the depth of the tag line appearing below the 511 logo.

Logo Used with Web Address

The logo must always appear in its entirety, including the "tag line" consisting of "Sacramento Region Travel Info" or other SACOG-approved tag line. The tag line must be used in the designated proportion and may not be reset in any other typeface. Whenever possible, the website www.sacregion511.org should also be displayed with the logo.

Unacceptable Uses

The logo must not be stretched or skewed through computer manipulation, or enlarge or reduced disproportionally. Watermarks, other graphics, or patterns and textures should never be printed behind the logo. The 511 Logo must not appear over any patterned background.

Smallest Acceptable Size

The Logo may be used at any size, but must be at a minimum of 1" in length regardless of use.
