Bicycle-friendly businesses are retail and commercial enterprises, public agencies, schools, hospitals and nonprofit organizations in El Dorado, Placer, Sacramento, Sutter, Yolo and Yuba counties that encourage bicycling for everyday transportation. Their efforts are helping reduce traffic congestion, improve air quality, and reverse the health effects of inactive lifestyles throughout the greater Sacramento region.

Prior to May is Bike Month, we're inviting businesses, agencies and organizations to demonstrate their commitment to the benefits of bicycling by applying for certification as a Sacramento Region Bicycle-Friendly Business.
