Then select whether you want your trip to be most direct or most bike friendly. After reading the disclaimer, click "get directions." What is the Online Trip Planner?In February 2008, SACOG was awarded a grant to develop a Sacramento-Region online trip planner and a bicycle map. SACOG staff worked with local agencies to collect their most up-to-date bicycle facility information. Local advocates also provided valuable input during this process. Using the data provided from our member agencies, SACOG staff developed an integrated, GIS-based street and bicycle network file. Staff also developed the trip planner application by combining the technologies of Google maps and ESRI's ArcGIS Server. The trip planner offers several exciting benefits to Sacramento Region, including:
